Flush Floor Vents For Hardwood Flooring
Flush floor vents sit in your hardwood flooring over top of the heating supply. The surface of the floor vent is flush with the top of the flooring. A classic heritage pattern is created in the floor vent which is pleasing to the eye and facilitates air flow.
Flush floor vents come in 5/8" or 3/4" thickness in unfinished oak and maple and can be crafted from your pre-finished flooring. Craftsman Flush Floor Vents are made from engineered flooring to resist cupping or warping.
Pre-finished flush floor vents are made from your flooring planks so they have the exact colour and sheen as the rest of your floor. Craftsman Vents coordinates with your flooring provider to obtain your flooring planks for machining.
Air flow through the flush floor vent can be controlled by easily installing a Craftsman Vent damper in the duct work below the floor vent.

Installing Craftsman Flush Floor Vents
A Craftsman Flush Floor Vent should be installed at the time of hardwood installation. As the hardwood flooring installer approaches a heating air supply with the flooring planks, they simply set the flush floor vent over top of the flooring, directly above the air supply and trace the flooring. The hardwood installer carefully cuts to their line, leaving a nice square rectangle for the flush floor vent to fit into.
